Indonesia Implements All Indonesia Digital Arrival Card in Batam Starting 1 September 2025

All Indonesia

The Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia has officially launched the All Indonesia Digital Arrival Card, an integrated online entry system that combines immigration, customs, and health declarations into one digital platform. Starting from 1 September 2025, all passengers arriving in Batam through international ferry terminals such as Batam Center, Harbour Bay, and Sekupang are required to complete the form before arrival. The system aims to simplify procedures, reduce waiting times, and ensure a smoother and more efficient entry experience for both tourists and business travelers.

What Travelers Need to Know Before Arrival

The All Indonesia Digital Arrival Card is not a visa. Travelers who require a Visa on Arrival or e-Visa must still obtain one separately, depending on their nationality and purpose of visit. The online arrival card must be completed within 72 hours before entry into Indonesia.

Registration is free of charge and takes only a few minutes to complete. Travelers can fill in the form at the official website allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or through the All Indonesia mobile application available on the App Store and Google Play. Once submitted, a QR code will be sent by email, which must be presented at immigration and customs upon arrival in Batam.

Benefits for Passengers Arriving in Batam

Completing the All Indonesia form in advance allows travelers to move quickly through the arrival area and eliminates the need for paper forms. This system also merges customs and health declarations into one streamlined process, reducing manual inspections and ensuring a faster clearance experience.

For travelers arriving from Singapore, the new digital system provides greater convenience and helps shorten queues at immigration counters. With the QR code ready, visitors can proceed directly to their hotels, resorts, or business appointments without unnecessary delays.

The early rollout in Batam highlights Indonesia’s commitment to improving the overall border experience for international visitors while enhancing data accuracy and traveler security.
